Meanwhile, in the thick of things, two teams hit the brakes on the competition due to an unfortunate accident and some hiccups with the car during the race.

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 13. The free races of Formula 2 teams have started within the framework of the “Formulа 1 Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Azerbaijan 2024” competition, Trend reports.
A total of 11 teams take part in the race.
Meanwhile, Formulа 1 Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Azerbaijan 2024 started from today.
The first day of the competition, which will be held on September 13-15, will include free races of Formula 1 and Formula 2 teams and the ordinal round.
On the second day of the race, i.e., September 14, will be held the third free race of Formula 1 teams, the order race, and short sprint races of Formula 2 teams.
The major competitions will be held on September 15, and the winners of Formula 1 and Formula 2 will be determined.
To note, the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix has been held at the Baku City Track since 2017.
