The production volume reached 362.6 million manat ($213.3 million) in the field of water supply, treatment and waste processing in Azerbaijan from January through October 2021, which is by 95.1 million manat ($55.9 million) or 35.4 percent more compared to the period from January through October 2020, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee told Trend on Nov. 16.
The products worth over 1.9 billion manat ($1.1 billion) were produced in the field of production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam in Azerbaijan from January through October 2021.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the production volume in this sphere increased by 6.7 percent or 403 million manat ($237 million) from January through October 2021 compared to the period from January through October 2020.
The industrial production volume increased by 5.2 percent in Azerbaijan from January through October 2021 compared to the same period of last year and amounted to 40.9 billion manat ($24.05 billion).
