Azerbaijani bank increases its income by 52 percent in September

As of Oct.1, Azerbaijani Texnika Bank's assets totaled 587.85 million manat, increasing by 1.7 percent in September, the bank said on Monday.

The bank's loan portfolio during the month increased by 1.5 percent and amounted to 412.25 million manat, where the share of consumer loans hit 34.6 million manat. Deposit portfolio increased by 0.3 percent in September and amounted to 276.7 million manat.

Deposits of physical entities amounted to 206.16 million manat. The bank's liabilities as of Oct.1 hit 496.45 million manat.

The total capital of the bank hit 102.7 million manat as of late reporting period, authorized capital - 64.8 million manat. Income increased by 51.7 percent in September and amounted to 6.22 million manat. Total revenues, as of the reporting period, amounted to 44.6 million manat.

Texnika Bank operates in Azerbaijan since 1993 and was the 100-percent Azerbaijan-owned bank until 2007.Currently, the majority stockholder (75 percent) of the bank is the World Wines. The bank's Observation Board Chairman Etibar Mamedov and US's Kazimir Investment Caspian Fund hold 15 percent and 10 percent, respectively.

The official exchange rate is 0.7869 manat to $1 on Oct.18.
