On Dec. 24, the grand opening of the Uzbek-Indian Center for the Development of Entrepreneurship took place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Trend reports on Dec. 25 referring to Uzbek media.
The opening was attended by Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Adham Ikramov, Director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship Development of India Sunil Shukla, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Uzbekistan Vinod Kumar.
The center was created with the aim of introducing modern technologies and methods of retraining and advanced training of personnel in the sphere of entrepreneurship, development of integration links between science and production at the level of best international practices and standards, promotion of innovation, creation of conditions for effective interaction of scientific researchers with industry and businesses, transfer of research results, etc.
