The production of mining materials, especially raw steel, aluminum ingots and alumina increased during first 2 months of current Iranian year (March 20-May 20, 2020) compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports referring to the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade of Iran.
In accordance with the report, production of raw steel increased by 7.5 percent, aluminum ingots by 43.4 percent, alumina by 7.2 percent.
“However, the production of steel products decreased by 0.2 percent, copper cathode by 4.6 percent and coal concentrate by 12 percent,” the report said.
