Azerbaijani Government Delegation to Leave for Germany

The Government delegation of Azerbaijan headed by Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev to leave Baku for Bonn (Germany) to take part in the next round of negotiations within the Azerbaijan-German intergovernmental negotiations. The Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan told Trend that the negotiations to be held on August 14-17 as it was set earlier.

During the negotiations in Germany it is planned to discuss issues of the bilateral economic cooperation, the existing condition within the technical and financial documents being signed earlier, as well as the projects which are being implemented now and the prospective of implementation of future projects. Also it is expected to make the volume of financial and technical aid for 2007 rendered by the German Reconstruction Bank of KFW and the German Society on Technical Assistance of GTZ more precise.

In the end of the negotiations the signing of a protocol and other documents is considered. Authorities on the signing of the agreement on the giving of grant on creation of the credit-guarantee fund at the volume of в'¬4 m (в'¬3, 75 m for the fund itself, в'¬0,25 m for accompanying measures have not been given yet.

Up to date the volume of technical aid to Azerbaijan rendered by Germany has made в'¬26 m, and в'¬143 m. of the financial one.
