Turkmenistan puts up more than 280,000 tons of oil products for sale

Turkmenistan has put up for sale more than 280,000 tons of oil products from refineries in Turkmenbashi, Seydi and a gas processing complex in Naip at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

Liquefied gas - 62.000 tons, kerosene - 15,000 tons, jet fuel - 60.000 tons, polypropylene - 7,000 tons, gasoline (A-92 and A-80) - 60.000 tons, fuel oil - 80.000 tons were put up for sale.

Last week about 20 transactions were registered at the auction.

Businessmen from Great Britian, UAE, Afghanistan bought liquefied gas, jet fuel and diesel fuel. Traditionally, the main buyers are also businessmen from Switzerland, Iran, Holland, Russia, Kazakhstan, the Virgin Islands and other countries.

Commodity Exchange serves as the principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
