An enterprise owned by the Azerkimya Production Unit is undergoing repairs.
Repairs are underway at 11 shops at the Ethylene and Polyethylene Plant's EP-300 Complex, which has nine compressors operating at a pressure of 2,000 atmospheres. Six A -171, B-171 and B-152 brand compressors have been installed, upgraded or repaired.
Engineering works are also being held at the shops to polish elbow shafts, adjustment rods and main bearings. Activities are also underway to replace old elbow shafts, connecting rods and main bearings to two aggregates - A-103 and B-103 booster compressors.
More than 70 employees at the plant and 30 Azerkimya specialists are involved in the repairs.
The repairs will eliminate delays and raw material losses, increase productivity and prevent the emission of noxious and poisonous gases into the atmosphere.
The Azerbkimya PU is part of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic.
