Iran’s South Pars Gas Company boosts exports

The liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production of Iran’s South Pars Gas Company (SPGC) for export, increased by 90 percent as a result of repairs carried out at the 10th refinery of the company in the 6th month of the current Iranian year (August 23 through September 22), said Mohammad Nemati, Head of the 10th refinery of the SPGC, Trend reports citing the company’s information portal.

According to Nemati, if before the repairs the plant produced 1,250 tons of LPG daily, now the figure is 2,400 tons daily.

The official added that repairs were carried out in 4 unit of the 10th refinery. The LPG produced at the 10th refinery is exported.

As reported, the 10th refinery of the SPGC has the potential to produce 50 million cubic meters of sweet gas, 77,000 barrels of gas condensate, 2,400 tons of ethane, 1,800 tons of propane, 1,100 tons of butane, and 320 tons of sulfur per day.
