Agricultural production in Uzbekistan has grown eightfold over the past ten years, Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, in 2020, agricultural production in Uzbekistan in value terms amounted to 250.2 trillion soums ($23.3 billion), and in 2010 this indicator accounted for 30.8 trillion soums ($2.8 billion).
Agricultural production in Uzbekistan in 2020 increased by 15.7 percent compared to 2019 (216.8 trillion soums, or $20.1 billion).
From January through September 2021, agricultural production amounted to 213.8 trillion soums ($19.9 billion), including 106 trillion soums ($9.8 billion) for crop production, 107.8 trillion soums ($10 billion) for animal husbandry.
