The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Feb. 25:
Export floor: Offers 63,330 tons of bitumen and insulation.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 84,913 tons of chemicals, polymers, bitumen and vacuum bottom feed stock.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 220 tons of rebar, 550 tons of rebar basket, 1,310 tons of wire copper, 4,000 tons of cathode copper, 30,000 tons of low-grade copper, 12 tons of precious metal concentrates, 190 tons of sulphur molybdenum, 1,000 tons of 1000 lb aluminum ingots and 500 tons of aluminum billets.
Agriculture floor: Offers 445,000 day-old chicks, 26,000 tons of wheat, 4,100 tons of sugar, 1,500 tons of colza oil, 170 tons of large lentil, and 400 kilogram of saffron.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 100 tons of powder milk, 100 tons of frozen meat and 200 tons of lactic butter.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
