BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 22. Uzbekistan's Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov has engaged in a roundtable discussion with leading US companies, focusing on expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in various sectors, Trend reports.
The meeting, held via videoconference, was organized in collaboration with the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Washington, D.C.
The discussions centered on potential joint investment projects in food and pharmaceutical production, transportation and logistics, and IT technologies. Additionally, both sides explored new opportunities to boost bilateral trade between Uzbekistan and the US.
Following the roundtable, Kudratov invited US companies to visit Uzbekistan to further develop the initiatives discussed during the meeting.
