ASTANA, Kazakhstan, August 15. The economy of Kazakhstan showed an increase in GDP (gross domestic product) by 4.8 percent in the period from January through July 2023, Trend reports, referring to the statement of Kazakhstan's Minister of National Economy Alibek Kuantyrov.
Growth in the real sector of the economy totaled 4.6 percent, and in the services domain, 4.7 percent. Positive dynamics are evident in all key sectors, especially in the spheres of construction, trade, and information and communication services, he noted.
Moreover, investments in fixed capital increased by 12.4 percent. At the same time, the inflow of investments increased noticeably in such areas as transportation and warehousing (+57.7 percent), education (+24.3 percent), trade (+22.6 percent), agriculture (+21.3 percent), and industry (+9 percent).
