BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 11. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a Cabinet meeting instructed the government to expand the lending program for small and medium-sized businesses, Trend reports citing Orient news.
Furthermore, Berdimuhamedov, addressing the leadership of the financial and economic bloc, focused on the need to create new jobs, especially in the regions of the country.
The Head of State also gave instructions to intensify work on attracting foreign investments and loans on profitable terms.
Turkmen banks provide various types of loans to small and medium-sized enterprises. For example, loans at 5 percent per annum for investment projects for up to 10 years, and for the purchase of working capital for up to 1 year.
