The Azerbaijani State Commission for Students Admission holds the entrance exams of 2010/2011 academic year for the Azerbaijani universities on the first group of specialties on Sunday.
The entrance exams take place in Baku, Nakhchivan, Ganja and Sumgait, Commission's website reported. The commission allocated 44 buildings for holding exams in Baku, 7-Ganja, 8- Sumgait and 2- Nakhchivan. The commission involved 2,413 teacher-supervisors and 258 exam supervisors in the examinations.
About 35,769entrants take part in the entrance exams on the first group of specialties. Of them 32,992 have graduated from the Azerbaijan sector and 2,777 - Russian sector, 21,547 are the guys and 14222 - girls.
The eldest of the entrants is 56-year old and the youngest - 14-year old.
