Names of victims of a traffic accident committed in Baku by former Azerbaijani President Ayaz Mutallibov's 19-year-old granddaughter have been announced.
Nineteen-year-old Madina Mutallibova with her Lexus car hit three pedestrians - 63-year-old Maharram Huseynov, his wife 57-year-old Solmaz Huseynova and their grandson 4-year-old Nihad Huseynov in Mardakan settlement at 12:30 p.m., the Interior Ministry told Trend.
The grandfather and his grandson were killed in the accident. Huseynova is in critical state. She was hospitalized.
An investigation is underway over the fact.
Mutallibova is the daughter of Zaur Mutallibov - the youngest son of former Azerbaijani President Ayaz Mutallibov, a law-enforcement source told Trend.
In an interview with Trend, the chairman of the Social Democratic Party of Azerbaijan Araz Alizadeh confirmed that Madina Mutallibova is the granddaughter of Ayaz Mutallibov. The accident took place near aboveground crossing.
