Azerbaijan, Baku, 3 March / corr Trend S.Agayeva / Medvedeovs's [winner of the recent presidential elections in Russia] attitude towards Azerbaijan is quite good, Khazar Ibrahim, spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, said in talks with journaists on 3 March.
"Azerbaijani-Russian relations are on the highest level and we will try to boost them during the term of the newly elected President as well," Ibrahim said.
The presidential elections were held in Russia on 2 March. Gaining 70.1% of votes Dmitriy Medvedev occupied first place during the polls held at the Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan.
