Riyadh hosts first round of Georgia - Saudi Arabia political talks

Georgia and Saudi Arabia's foreign ministries held the first political consultations in Riyadh.
As the Georgian Foreign Ministry told Trend, at the talks Georgian delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania.
It was Georgian delegation's first visit to Saudi Arabia.
During the visit, meetings were held with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Nizar Bin Obaid Madani, head of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group with Georgia Mohammed bin Saad Al Abulaziz al-Salem, Minister of Trade and Industry, Bin Zeinal Ali Reza, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce AbdulRahman AliAl-Jeraisyand Director General of export program of Development Fund, Ahmed al-Ghannam.
At the meetings the sides discussed the bilateral and multilateral relations and prospects of development of economic and trade relations between the two countries. Arab side was provided with comprehensive information about economic reforms in Georgia and investment opportunities.
