Iranian Persian Gulf Bid-Boland Gas Refining Company increased natural gas refining by about 14.7 percent, during the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through January 20, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Executive Director of the company, Ali Mohammad Pour Reza, Trend reports citing National Iranian Gas Company’s website.
According to Pour Reza, the company has refined about 3.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas within the mentioned period.
The director also added that in order to improve country’s gas supply, the company has taken a number of steps this year. Thus, the company has carried out repair work and renewed needed equipment.
The Persian Gulf Bid-Boland Gas Refining Company was built with an investment of $3.4 billion. The company could bring $700 million worth of revenues a year to Iran if it operates fully.
The company can produce 10.3 million tons of methane, 1.5 million tons of propane, 490,000 tons of butane, 922,000 tons of acid gas, and 400,000 tons of gas condensate per year.
