Turkmenistan's salt plant receives new international certificates

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 29. The Guwlyduz plant, located in the Balkan region of Turkmenistan, has been awarded three new international certificates, Trend reports.

According to an official source, this became known at a working meeting within the framework of a trip to the city of Arkadag by the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

At the meeting, it was noted that the plant received an ISO 14001 Environmental management systems, a Certificate of compliance of medical products with the ISO 13485 quality management system and a Certificate of compliance of the salt production management system with ISO 9001 requirements.

Furthermore, during the meeting, the progress of work within the framework of the next stage of the construction of the new city, as well as issues related to the celebration of significant dates, were discussed.

Meanwhile, according to the data, the reserves of the deposit of raw materials for the production used by the enterprise exceed 40 million tons.

Guwlyduz Enterprise of the Turkmenhimiya State Concern occupies a leading position in Central Asia as well as fourth place in the world in salt production.
