Georgia, Tbilisi, Dec.6 / Trend N. Kirtskhalia /

Tbilisi Mayor Gigi Ugulava's service car is scheduled to put up for auction today. The car of "NYC-100" series is in the Rose Revolution Square, and its cost is 48,999 lari ($ 1 = 1.76 lari).

A few days ago at the initiative of the authorities within the policy of so-called "belt-tightening", Tbilisi City Hall has put up several cars, including Ugulava's vehicle, for auction.

According to Tbilisi City Hall, mayor's new car is bought at a much lower price.

It should be noted that Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili said earlier that all the government will use cars operating with solar panels and will not cause environmental damage.
