At least 10 people have been injured after a bomb explosion targeted an Afghan army bus on the outskirts of the capital Kabul, Press TV reported.
The blast took place at 4:30 p.m. local time (1230 GMT) on Saturday on a road in the Ahmad Shah Baba Mina district east of Kabul city.
Seven Afghan soldiers and three civilians were wounded in the attack, a Press TV correspondent reported.
Afghan President Hamid Karzai condemned the attack, according to a statement released by the presidential office.
Karzai said the enemies of Afghanistan would not be able to meet their goals through launching such attacks on Afghan security forces.
Last week, four bombers attacked a US military base on the eastern outskirts of Kabul. Only the assailants were killed in the attack.
This comes as security responsibilities for seven areas in Afghanistan are to be handed over to Afghan forces within months.
