The export of goods from Turkey’s Istanbul and Ankara to Russia exceeded $1.2 billion from January through September 2019, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
During the reporting period, the export of goods from Istanbul to Russia reached over $1.1 billion, while export of goods from Ankara – over $96.4 million, said the ministry.
The export of goods from Istanbul and Ankara to Russia amounted to over $171.1 million in September 2019,” the ministry said.
The export of goods from Ankara to Russia amounted to over $14.2 million, while the export of goods from Istanbul – over $156.8 million in September.
The export of goods from Turkey to Russia increased by 9.08 percent and reached over $2.7 billion from January through September 2019 compared to the same period of 2018.
Turkey’s foreign trade turnover increased by 0.11 percent and reached $32.1 billion in September 2019 compared to September 2018.
Turkey’s total trade turnover amounted to $286.4 billion from January through September 2019.
