Azerbaijan, Baku, November 4 / Trend, E. Mehdiyev /

In all, representative of any profession, including journalists speaking at different Russian channels in front of a lot of viewers/listeners should understand their responsibility. They must avoid slandering a whole nation if even they treat emotionally any specific fact, MP Zahid Oruj reported on Friday. He was commenting on anti-Azerbaijani statements of Vladimir Solovyev, the anchor of Russian radio station Vesti FM broadcast titled "Morning with Vladimir Solovyev. Full Contact."

Vladimir Solovyev, the anchor of broadcast entitled "Morning with Vladimir Solovyev. Full Contact" that was on the air at Russia's radio station Vesti FM on November 1 addressed Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani nation expressions incompatible with human values and journalism ethics. His behavior angered all citizens of the country regardless from religion or language. The religious community of our country also reacted sharply to the matter.

A leader of company who is going to arrive in Azerbaijan must know what problems related to his security he can face with here exactly for the reason of his nationality, Oruj said.
"It is absolutely irrelevant to accuse Azerbaijan in this matter. Can the very same journalists give Azerbaijani citizens security guarantees if the latter visit the territory of Armenia? On the other hand, feelings of an Azerbaijani citizen can not be ignored, and failure to see reality of aggression is a position incompatible with the principles of journalism. Any work, any act should be based upon serious principles, values.

What are values when deportation of a certain person makes someone on the air tell everything he wants, express hatred and malice but at the same time turn a blind eye to the seizure of someone else's territories, vandalism, acts of terror and phobia of another nation, prejudice against the Azerbaijani nation, and territorial claims for the Azerbaijani territory?" Oruj asked.
