Singapore medical company to open own pharma production in Uzbekistan

The Singapore medical company RV Healthcare PTE LTD is planning to create pharmaceutical production facilities in the Khorezm region of Uzbekistan, the press-service of the State Committee of Uzbekistan for Investments announced referring to the results of talks between the first deputy chairman of the Committee Sunatulla Bekenov and the representatives of the Singapore company.
"At the first stage of the project in 2018, it is planned to open a distribution center with establishment of a trade enterprise with foreign investments and assortment of over 40 types of medicines, including auxiliary substances," the press service of the Committee noted.
At the second stage, in 2019-2020, the company is planning to transfer technologies for production and packaging of high-tech antiviral drugs (hepatitis B, C and antiretroviral drugs), oral anti-cancer drugs, injections and biostimulators.
At the third stage, in 2021-2022, it is planned to start full-cycle production of pharmaceuticals.
RV Healthcare PTE LTD, based in Singapore, is one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in Asia. It has three manufacturing plants in India, two in Vietnam and Myanmar, and one enterprise in China, Cambodia, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Thailand, Kazakhstan and the Philippines each.
