Georgian Interior and Defense Ministries again bring units in Lopota gorge

Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of Georgia in the second half of Wednesday again have brought units into the Lopota gorge - area of the Dagestan section of the Georgian-Russian border.
There are eight trucks with soldiers and more than 20 police pickups in the village of Lapakuri. Additional two ambulances, one of them - Disaster Medicine entered the Lopota gorge.
Deputy Interior Minister Shota Khizanishvili few hours ago at a press conference in Telavi said that during the anti-terrorist operation three special forces soldiers were killed and five wounded. As for the group of saboteurs, 11 people were killed. At present, six saboteurs are surrounded and operation on their capture is ongoing.
According to the information, the operation will resume at nightfall.
