Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will visit Azerbaijan by late June, Ambassador of Belarus Nikolay Patskevich told media.

He said that discussions are held in connection with the program of the visit. Patskevitch noted that Lukashenko's visit will give a new impetus to the development of relations between the two countries.

Answering a question about whether bilateral documents will be signed within the visit, the diplomat recalled that two countries signed about 50 interstate, intergovernmental agreements. He noted that about 20 similar documents will be worked out. About 10 will be signed.

"It is early to say what documents will be signed. We only know that the agreement on mutual protection of investments will be signed. This document is agreed upon and approved at all levels," he said.

Patskevich also added that the sixth meeting of the intergovernmental commission will be held in Baku June 2.

Diplomat said that the two countries intend to implement several projects, including the production of elevator equipment, optical products, etc.

"The two countries actively cooperate in the field of agriculture. There are plans to develop agro - complex of social and personal services for residents of villages close to the life conditions in the city. The Commission will consider the cooperation of IT-technologies, in particular the draft of the Eurasian bridge approved by the Belarusian side. With regard to cooperation in the field of architecture and construction, it should be noted that Belarusian specialists will bring their studies for the development of the coastal part of Baku", Patskevich said.

The agreement on the full protection of investments is expected to be signed.

A document between the Ministries of Communications is ready for signing.

The Belarusian side is also actively considering optimization of Azerbaijani oil delivery to Belarusian refineries through Ukraine, diplomat said.
