One person was killed and 27 wounded Thursday in an police bus explosion in the city of Hakkari, CNN Turk reported.
Hakkari Governor Muammer Turker said most of the victims are civilians.
"The explosion occurred near the city hall. The bomb was put into effect at the time of approaching the police bus," - said Turker.
An investigation launched. All entrances to the city are blocked.
According to one of the versions, Kurdish separatists suspected of an attack.
