Dead bodies of two Ukrainian climbers, who died three days ago in the summit of Ushba in Georgia, have been delivered to Tbilisi. They will be sent to their homeland after certain procedures.
Dead bodies of climbers Sasha Taranik and Dima Voloshin, whose rope broke at 3,200 meters, were revealed by rescuers yesterday morning. However, their dead bodies were delivered to base camp on Friday morning. From there they were delivered to Mestia Airport by Georgian Defense Ministry's helicopter and later to Tbilisi.
A group of Ukrainian alpinists climbed the summit of Ushba with height of 4,690 meters above sea level on July 18. During descent, rope of Sasha Taranik and Dima Voloshin broke and they fell into the gorge.
