Police evacuated staff at local Rustavi-2 TV from the new building in Tbilisi.
According to the Georgian Interior Ministry, the 112 service received a call about a bomb in the building of the TV company on September 12 at 10:30 am that must explode in an hour.
According to the report, all staff was rapidly evacuated. The building is now cordoned off by police.
Sappers are looking for a bomb. According to them, the search will take several hours.
Despite the evacuation, the company continued to broadcast from its old building.
Previously, there were two false calls about bombs in the Georgian Parliament. Two telephone terrorists a 65-year-old retiree and a 17-year-old young man were detained.
