"Azercosmos" JSC of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan is striking a balance of the tender on purchase of the universal ground station and services for signal recept from other satellites, the JSC told Trend on Wednesday.
The tender procedure took place with the participation of authorized representatives of participant companies.
The tender results will be announced after evaluation of offers.
Tender was held on three lots: on purchase of the station, of optic satellite services and the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR).
The ground station built in Azerbaijan will allow to receive image signals from satellites of other countries and to cover the demand for optic and radar images on the regional markets.
The works are planned to be finished in September.
