BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 2. Chairman of Azerbaijan's State Committee for Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov has met with Azerbaijani Faila Abbasova, who lives in Latvia and is engaged in legal activities, Trend reports via State Committee for Work with Diaspora of Azerbaijan.
Greeting the guest sincerely, the chairman informed about the committee's activities, implemented projects, Azerbaijani houses abroad, coordination councils, and the fifth summer camp of diaspora youth, “Youth for Green World," which ended these days.
Muradov noted that attention is paid to Azerbaijani communities, our compatriots currently engaged in activities abroad by President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva.
Abbasova emphasized that her compatriots living in Latvia closely follow the processes taking place in Azerbaijan, and support the successful domestic and foreign policy of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
She underlined that she will go the extra mile to foster stronger ties between the countries, offer better support for our diaspora, impart legal knowledge to our compatriots, and lend a helping hand in any way possible.
Chairman of the Board of the Mediation Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan Nadir Adilov, and member of the Bar Association Gasim Shaliyev also took part in the meeting.
Both sides discussed topics of mutual interest throughout the meeting.
To note, a native of Azerbaijan Faila Abbasova is currently working in Latvia. In this country, she is a board member of several organizations in the field of mediation and chairman of the Council of Certified Mediators.
