Azerbaijan, Baku, 14 November / Trend corr. J.Babayeva/ Ukraine is ready to share its experience in protection of children's rights with Azerbaijan.

"The system of protection of children's rights, protection of orphans' rights, and assistance to national adoption is being extremely reformed in Ukraine. 2009 was announced the year of assistance to national adoption in Ukraine. Ukraine is ready to share its experience in this field with Azerbaijan," Ukrainian Minister for Family, Youth & Sports Yuri Pavlenko said to journalists in Baku on 14 November.

Pavlenko is paying a two-day visit to Baku. The purpose of the visit is to discuss the points of the Program on Cooperation on Youth Policy and Sports for 2008-2009 between the Azerbaijani Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports of Ukraine, that was signed during the official visit of Azerbaijani President to Ukraine.

The new system gives every child an opportunity to grow up in a family instead of boarding school, said Pavlenko. " Ukraine is also ready to help Azerbaijani children to improve their health in Ukraine's health-improving establishments. Ukraine invites Azerbaijani children to visit the Artek children centre in Crimea and the Young Guards children centre in Odessa next summer," Minister said.
