A prosecutor has demanded a sentence for young men accused of hooliganism in Azerbaijan.
The public prosecutor demanded to sentence Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizadeh to three and six years in prison, respectively, during a trial at the Baku Sabayel District Court today.
Their lawyers will soon present their defense.
According to official data, Milli, Abdullayev and five other people got drunk at a Lebanese restaurant at 6:00 p.m. on July 9 and clashed with Vusal Mammadov and Babak Huseynov.
Milli and Hajizade were accused of Article 221.2.1 (Hooliganism) and Article 127 (Intentional Infliction of Minor Severe Bodily Harm) of the Criminal Code. The youths deny the accusations and said their arrest was "ordered."
