Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. E.Javadova / The criminal trial involving Azerbaijan's former Minister of Economic Development, Farhad Aliyev, his brother Rafik Aliyev, former President of the Azpetrol Group of Companies, and seventeen other people, has been continued at the Court of Heinous Crimes presided by Judge Tofik Pashayev.

Shakir Ismayilzadeh gave evidence as a civil defender. Ismayilzadeh noted that when he went to Russia to earn money, his wife sold his house located in Bilga to F.Aliyev in 2004. The former minister drew up all the necessary documents in the name of his son, Yusif, 10. In 2005 after returning to Azerbaijan Ismayilzadeh appealed to the Sabunchi District Court, which did not recognize the sale and legal purchase of the house.

F.Aliyev appealed to the Sabunchi Court to resolve the case. The lawsuit was considered after the arrest of the former minister, and the decision of the Court remained in force. The civil defence added that despite the decision of the court his property was seized.
