BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 26. The current level of trade between Pakistan and Azerbaijan does not meet the existing potential and there is an urgent need to increase trade and cooperation between the two countries, Pakistan's Federal Minister for Commerce Jawad Paul told Trend.
"The governments of Pakistan and Azerbaijan are ready to promote ties between private companies of both countries and the business forum held in Baku on September 16, in particular, provided such opportunities for businessmen. In fact, the business forum allowed opening new prospects for cooperation," Jawad Paul noted.
He sees a goldmine in the realms of logistics, agriculture, and food, where win-win projects can really take root.
To note, the trade turnover between Pakistan and Azerbaijan amounted to $27 million in 2023.
