State Realty Register Service addressed the government with the proposal on solving problems with privatization of apartments located in new high-rise buildings, reportedly said Arif Garashov, head of Service, adding that apartments are privatized based on the law dated 1993, amended in 1995. 75% of apartment fund were privatized to date.
Some problems remain in the sphere of apartments registration with new owners. These problems arise when construction companies submit documents on just-built houses to state commission and pass orders to the customers. At this stage citizens usually appeal to the court unless receive such orders.
В"Owners shall be concerned in safety of their apartments, which may be ensured through buildings commissioningВ", - Garashov said.
