Kazakhstan, Astana / Trend corr. K.Arinova / Sauat Minbayev, the Energy and Mineral Resources Minister of Kazakhstan, met with the head of the Italian ENI company, Paolo Skaroni, on 11 September and expressed concerns due to implementation of the North-Caspian project, the press-service of the Energy Ministry reported.
"Minister said about inadmissibility of any damage cause to economic interests of Kazakhstan and expressed concern due to systematic violations requirements of the national legislation by different foreign users of the field and delay with the term of the North-Caspian project.
Fulfilment of the legislation and liabilities of our country is imperative for all companies functioning in Kazakhstan, including foreign companies. We cannot set aside it especially when the issue concerns our country, Minbayev said.
If demands not to be observed we will take all the necessary measures envisaged by our legislation, Minbayev added.
Besides, the minister said about the irreceivability of adoption the new supplements to the Plan on Budget development of Kashagan, the biggest field.
The technical-economic analyze held by the Plenipotentiary body revealed that such increase and delay of commerce indexes leads to worsening of the main economic reports of the project for Kazakhstan. The share of Kazakhstan decrease in project payments.
One of the relevant conditions for prolonging economic relations is fulfilment of contract liabilities.
"Delays in development of Kashagan, the biggest field, to reach the industrial level of extraction prejudice implementation of long-term economic development of the country, Minbayev said.
" Kazakhstan adheres to the stable investment contract principle. Kazakhstan is ready to hold open dialogue directed to settlement of the issue regarding implementation of the Kashagan project and I ask you not to politicize our demands to fulfil liabilities assumed by users of field, Minbayev said.
