Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / From January to September 2007, Baku-based oil refineries, part of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) - the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery Plant (formerly Azerneftyanacag), and Azerneftyag refined 5,624,730 tons of oil.
According to the State Statistics Committee, during this period the production of motor-petrol grew by 16.2%, kerosene by 7.3%, oil bitumen by 13.3%, and naphtha by 61%. Production of mazut, diesel fuel and lubricants decreased.
