Licenses issued to establish enterprises in Iran's Yazd Province

The licenses were issued to establish of 1,727 industrial enterprises in the Yazd Province (central Iran) during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 20-September 21, 2020), said Chairman of the Industry, Mine, and Trade Organization of the Yazd Province, Mohammad Reza Alamdar Yazdi, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.

The chairman emphasized that it was planned to invest 204 trillion rials (about $4.86 billion) on the establishment of these enterprises.

He added that the licenses were increased 29 percent in terms of number and 283 percent in terms of investment compared to the same period last Iranian year.

According to Alamdar Yazdi, it was envisaged to employ 32,700 people at these enterprises. This is an increase of 45 percent compared to the same period last of the Iranian year.

A total of 266 industrial enterprises were licensed to commission in the Yazd Province of Iran in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020). About 15 trillion rials (about $357 million) was invested in the commissioning of enterprises and 3,400 people were employed.
