Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Wednesday that the budget plan for the 2013 (Iranian year of 1392) envisaged less dependence on crude oil revenues, IRNA reported.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the weekly cabinet session, President Ahmadinejad said the government has planned to replace crude oil exports with oil derivatives to save the value-added available in processing of the crude oil, enabling national economy to enjoy the lucrative downstream industry in the oil sector.

He said that compilation of the budget bill is underway and will be presented to the parliament soon.
