Turkic-speaking countries in Baku to define prospects of economic cooperation development

Following the second meeting of economy ministers of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (CCTS), to be held in Baku on Aug.14, recommendations for the Bishkek summit will be accepted in order to determine the future directions of economic cooperation, Economic Development Ministry of Azerbaijan said on Friday.

Following the second meeting of economy ministers of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (CCTS), to be held in Baku on Aug.14, recommendations for the Bishkek summit will be accepted in order to determine the future directions of economic cooperation, Economic Development Ministry of Azerbaijan said on Friday.

The Baku meeting will be attended by economy ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as representatives of public and private sectors. The meeting will discuss the current state and prospects of enhancing cooperation between the parties.

The second meeting of working groups of the CCTS will be held on Aug.13-14 for preparations for the ministerial meeting. Four working groups function as part of CCTS to improve the investment climate, diversification of economy, development of transport and business.

The first meeting of economy ministers of the CCTS was held in the Kazakh capital Astana, on Oct.13, 2011. It was attended by ministers and deputy ministers of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
