Azerbaijan, Baku, 14 May / corr Trend S.Agayeva / The prospects of Azerbaijani-Iranian relations will be discussed in Baku at the end of May. Talks will be held within the framework of next meeting of an intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran, Abbasali Hasanov, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iran, said over telephone form Tehran on 14 May.
An Iranian government delegation led by Iranian foreign minister Manuchohr Mottaki will visit Baku to participate in a meeting.
At the end of May, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister, Sheikh Attar, will visit Baku to discuss arrangements for a meeting of the intergovernmental commission and bilateral talks to be held by the Iranian foreign minister, he said.
The co-chairs of the intergovernmental commission are the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mammadyarov, and Iran, Manuchohr Mottaki.
