Survey Calls Azerbaijani President Leader of Eurasia and Middle East

Azerbaijan, Baku, 17 June / Trend corr M. Aliyev/ WorldPublicOpinion held a survey to draw the rating of world leaders. As a result, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev was called the leader of Eurasia and Middle East.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon took the first position in the rating and Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf took the last one.

Ban Ki-moon gained 35% of votes, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin 32% (2nd position). UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown took the third position with 30%. He is followed by Chairman of Chinese People's Republic Hu Jintao with 28%, French President Nicolas Sarcozy with 26%, US President George Bush with 23% and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad with 22%. Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf took the last position with 18% of votes.

Along with Azerbaijani President, the King of Saudi Arabia, Turkish Prime Minister, Iraqi Prime Minister, Presidents of Egypt, Syria, Palestinian national autonomy and the Secretary General of Hezbollah are   amongst the leaders of Eurasia and Middle East.

Presidents of Ukraine, Poland, Spain, Chancellor of Germany and President of the European Commission were called leaders of Europe.
