91st anniversary of commencement of military operations in Chanakkala is being celebrated in Turkey. A ceremony for praying the memory of killed soldiers was conducted on Gelibolu peninsula in front of Martyrs monument. Trends correspondent reports from Turkey, at the ceremony, alongside Turkish officials, are partaking delegations from UK, Australia, New Zealand, etc.
On the peninsula there are a few graves of Azerbaijanis that voluntarily joined Turkish army those days.
There is an unrecognized soldiers grave near the Martyrs Monument, and on its tomb stone is engraved: В"Mehmet AzerbaijanВ".
