Azerbaijan, Baku, 14 June / Trend corr E. Babayev/ Candidates to the administration the Organizing Committee for preparation to the 5th congress of Azerbaijani journalists still were not defined at the committee's meeting on 13 June. "We opened the sets with names of candidates proposed by newspapers and began counting. Selected candidates will be divulged at the last meeting of the Organizing Committee next week. The candidates will be those whose names are most frequently mentioned in the proposals," Chairman of the Press Council Aflatun Amashov said to Trend on 13 June.
The congress of journalists will take place on 20 June. Main attention will be paid to organizing issues.
Amashov mentioned that most of 155 Press Council founders will be participating in the congress. Only 20 founders will be absent, as some of them cut their relations with the Council and some suspended their activities.
