Azerbaijan, Baku, 23 August /corr. Trend R.Ergun / Azerbaijani chess player Shahriyar Mammadyarov gained his first victory in the tournament dedicated to memory of Mikhail Tal in Moscow.
The grand master won American rival Gata Camski after previous four matches which ended in a draw.
After victory with three points, Mammadyarov will fight for the second and third places.
In the sixth turn, Azerbaijani grand master will meet with Israeli chess player Boris Gelfand.
The prize of the tournament is $200,000.
