"We needed a coach wanting to work and prove himself. We will put serious demands for the new coach. The biggest demand is Neftchi to be a champion," Ilgar Guluzade, the vice-president of Neftchi told Trend on 29 August.
Neftchi club dismissed Anatoliy Demyanenko, a Ukrainian coach, a while ago. German Hans Yurgen Gede was appointed the new coach of the club on 29 August.
According to Guluzade, a contract will be signed with the new coach on 30 August. "I believe that the new coach's activity in our club will be successful for us and he will not spend his time with entertainment," the vice-president said.
Neftchi will meet with Simurg club of Zagatala Region within the framework of the Azerbaijani Premier League on 30 August. It is expected that the new coach will watch the match at the stands.
