The representative office of Iranian Imam Khomeini Rescue Committee in Azerbaijan organizes supper on Ramadan [the holy month of fast] at Gulustan palace at 19.00pm on Wednesday, the Committee told Trend.
The representative office invited diplomats of Moslem countries, Azerbaijani officials and public representatives to the event. The organization renders additional food aid to 40,000 poor citizens in 19 towns and regions of the country on Ramadan. Besides, it organizes suppers for poor level of the population every day.
The Rescue Committee functions in Azerbaijan from 1993. The annual budget of the Committee comprises from $2.5m to $3m.
