Azerbaijan, Baku, 12 November / corr Trend I.Khalilova / "Azerbaijani Accounting Chamber (CC) intends to continue inspection on fulfillment of State programs," Heydar Asadov, chairman of CC said. In this regard, audit was realized in Azerigaz JSC and the Ministry of Education.
Auditors intend to continue inspection on fulfillment of state programs in the sphere of sport and health.
"Defects were revealed during inspections, but they are not criminal," Asadov said.
"Defects were revealed mainly in inexpedient expense of funds, but the funds were returned partially," Asadov said,
"Violations were revealed also during checks of regional administrations of the Ministry of Finance and State Social Protection Fund," the chairman of CC said.
"Over AZN 2mln will be re-paid to the public budget as a result of checks in general," he said.
In 2008, 34 audit verifications are planned to be realized, however, realization of one of them is suspended due to technical reasons. It is the audit of application of a new scale on house-building by the Ministry of Taxes.
"Realization of this inspection is impossible in 2008, since the scale can not be used in
house and cooperative building, therefore, we postponed it," Asadov said.
Three audit verifications and 20 of envisaged 34 analytical researches were realized last year. According to the results of audit, realized in Aztelekom, some AZN 3mln was transferred to the Public budget and Pedagogic University - AZ 32,000.
